School Uniforms Expectations

At Abbeywood, we have high expectations of our pupils and our uniform.

All pupils, on non-P.E. days, must be in full school uniform (as detailed below). School shoes must be black and without logos.

On P.E. days, pupils are permitted to wear their P.E. kit to school (as detailed below).

Hair

All hair shoulder-length or longer is to be tied up with a small clip or bobble.

Jewellery

Where possible, all jewellery should be kept at home.

Permitted items:

A watch (no smart watches)
One small pair of stud earrings

Equipment

All pupils are expected to bring the following equipment to school every day:

Book bag
Reading diary
Reading book
Refillable water bottle

Due to the limited space in cloakrooms, pupils are only permitted to bring a book bag into school. Pupils are not required to bring a pencil case or any other items of stationery as this will be provided by the school. Please leave all other bags and personal items at home.
